This F.Y. Fundraisers
Bi-Lo is holding a non perishable drive the
month of October. You can pick up items from our wish list and drop them off in the cart located in the front of the check
out.
The Tennessee Valley Jamboree held a
benefit concert for The Shelter October 4th. They raised $1000.00.
The Shelter
is having an on going candle fundraiser from Home Interior. The orders must be turned in by November 26th. Candles should
be by December 18th. The Shelter receives 30% of all candles sold. The Shelter raised $500.00 from this project
February 11th 12th and 13th 2005
The Shelter will once again hold their annual dinner theater.
The event will be a interactive dinner theater. The location is Coleman
Memorial United Methodist Church at 322 N. Military Tickets will be sold in advance and available in January. Tickets
will be $20.00. This will include dinner and the theater. This years play is titled Mother Goose. Dress for this play will
be casual. The Shelter was able to raise $6000.00 during the Dinner Theater. We would like to thank all that participated.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Shoney's restaraunt conducted a fundraiser during the entire month of October. Eat any meal in Shoney's during October
and let the employees know you are there for The Shelter and we will receive 10% of the sales. The Shelter rasied a little
over $300.00 during this event.
April is Child Abuse Awareness month. Donations can be made
in memory or in the name of a child. We will place the childs name on our web site. If you would like to make a donation please
mail it to P.O. Box 769 and include the name of the child the gift was made for.
